Operations Assistant

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Assistant to support our day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal health, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. To be successful in this role you must be team oriented, dependable and have a positive attitude.

Day to Day duties include:

  • Assist with inventory management, including tracking and ordering supplies.

  • Coordinate logistics for product shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

  • Support the production team with the blending and packaging of products.

  • Maintain accurate records of production and inventory levels.

  • Assist with quality control processes to ensure product consistency and safety.

  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure smooth operations.

  • Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and scheduling.

  • Support the Director of Operations with various projects and tasks as needed.

  • Starting salary of $44,000/year

What you will bring:

  • Previous experience in an operations or administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Google Docs.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

  • Must be business, results and values oriented and work as part of a functional team.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
